Roots and Wings Gathering / Encuentro Raíces y alas

This meeting will be a transformative two-week experience, bringing together in Damanhur Pakarii 30 to 70 young people between 18 and 35 years old from indigenous, spiritual, ecological, social, artistic and community movements, who share the vision of co-creating a more just, conscious, resilient world in harmony with Mother Earth.

This space seeks to strengthen the global youth leadership network, integrating ancestral, permaculture and community knowledge, in a collective process of learning, spirituality and concrete action towards the social, ecological and cultural regeneration of their territories.

Week 1: mini-EDE training certified by Gaia Education

During the first week the participants will take part in an intensive training in sustainability, based on the model of Gaia Education and its four-pillar curriculum, which are:

Social: tools for collaboration, conscious leadership, community governance and conflict resolution

Ecological: permaculture, bioconstruction, agroecology, design of sustainable settlements

Economical: solidarity economies, regenerative entrepreneurship, local exchange systems

Worldview: spiritual connection, ancestral worldview, healing, goals in life and service

This international certification provides with practical tools, so that youths can start or strengthen projects on their territories.

Week 2: strengthening of the Global Network of Regenerative Youth

Global Vision • Territorial Projects • Strategic Alliances

The second week will be a more creative and open space, designed as a futures lab, in order to:

Strengthen the global network of youth connected to regeneration and spirituality.

Design concrete community projects, from territorial actions all the way to collective rituals and awareness-rising campaigns, coming from lively schools of practice, ecovillages, social enterprises.

Listen indigenous knowledge-carriers and young spiritual leaders, daughters and sons of shamans, grandparents, who carry the messages of the indigenous populations.

Create strategies for the coming 5 to 10 years, including calendars of gatherings, digital platforms, support processes, visibility-raising campaigns, etc.

Give rise to artistic, musical, healing and communication circles, as a way to keep the message alive and expand the vision.

This gathering in Damahur Pakarii (Peru) is not only an event. It’s a lively call, a cosmic seed that brings us to remember who we are: guardians of life, weavers of community, carriers of visions.
We come from many lands, languages, traditions, and yet our hearts beat to the same frequency: Love for the Earth. Respect for Life. Faith in the Future.
We gather to dream together. And also to act together. So that once we go back to our territories, we bring back more than ideas: we bring projects, alliances, tools, stories and inner fire.
Because there is no one way. There are hundreds of ways that open when we walk together. You’re invited to become part. To bring your vision. To listen to the voice of your ancestors. To create community with intention.
