NextGEN Africa is a community of young change makers, working together to inspire change in their communities and Africa as a whole by promoting youth activities and projects geared towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and regeneration.
About
NextGEN Africa is the African Ecovillage youth association that promotes social development, sustainable and regenerative living, environmental preservation and solidarity between communities in Africa through the concept of Ecovillages. NextGEN Africa develops innovative solutions and models to allow African communities emerge and demonstrate their know-how.
We envision to shape self-empowered communities thanks to ethical values favoring sustainable development and regeneration. NextGEN Africa started with a small group of 8 and has today grown to include over 60 members over the years.
Activities and Projects
NextGEN Africa is made up of enthusiastic young change makers and entrepreneurs scattered all over Africa, who are working on several projects in the area of mushroom production, beekeeping and honey production, growth and transformation of moringa, upcycling and recycling, animal farming, waste management, seed multiplication, tree planting and youth empowerment and capacity building workshops and training.
How to get involved ?
NextGEN Africa is looking for young people with an interest in sustainable development, sustainable/regenerative living and communities and are willing to work with us towards achieving the SDGs. We also welcome people who share our vision and wish to work with us via partnerships. We are open to engaging and learning from other networks and youth groups who share our passion and vision.
